Why I Chose a 2018 Audi R8 V10 Plus Over the RWS: A Car Enthusiast’s Perspective

The Audi R8 is a dream car for many, and when it comes to choosing between different variants, the decision can be tough. Recently, I found myself in the fortunate position to select my ideal R8. Initially, the rear-wheel-drive RWS model had caught my attention, and I even considered placing an order. However, after thorough research and careful consideration of my personal needs and driving preferences, I ultimately opted for a 2018 Audi R8 V10 Plus. Here’s a breakdown of the key factors that led to my decision.

Firstly, the inclusion of carbon ceramic brakes in the V10 Plus was a significant draw. These brakes offer superior stopping power and are incredibly durable, especially under demanding driving conditions. For someone who appreciates performance and occasionally enjoys spirited driving, this feature was a major advantage. Upgrading to carbon ceramics later can be a costly affair, making their presence in the V10 Plus a compelling value proposition right from the start.
