Functionality and safety are enhanced by the Driving Assistance Pro package and the Executive package (thoughtfully specified with a glass roof delete). Practical additions include remote engine start, M Shadowline lights, and front ventilated seats. Wireless charging, black brake calipers, and a space-saver spare wheel complete the build.
While the specification is almost perfect – a custom blue paint shade would have been a dream, and the 892M competition wheels are aesthetically preferred – the overall build is exceptional and meets all my needs and desires.

- Acceptable Synthesized Sound: The synthesized engine noise is less intrusive than anticipated and will likely remain enabled.
- Firm but Compliant Ride: The ride quality is firm, as expected from an M car, but not overly harsh. Comfort mode is perfectly suitable for daily driving, and even Sport and Sport Plus modes remain tolerable for regular road use.
Overall, my initial impressions of the 2024 X3 M Competition are overwhelmingly positive. It delivers on its promise as a fast, luxurious, and versatile vehicle, perfectly suited for daily driving duties and spirited weekend excursions.
