Adding to Tesla’s success, the Model 3 also secured a spot within the global top 10, a remarkable feat for a brand established less than three decades ago.
Toyota, a traditional powerhouse, maintained its strong presence despite losing the top spot. The Toyota RAV4, also known as Wildlander in China, experienced sales growth but narrowly missed surpassing the surging Model Y. Nevertheless, Toyota showcased its enduring popularity by placing an impressive five models within the global top 10. The Corolla sedan, however, saw a decline, likely influenced by the growing appeal of its SUV counterpart, the Corolla Cross. Toyota’s Hilux continued its reign as the preferred pickup in emerging markets, demonstrating the brand’s diverse global appeal.
