Canoo Inc., a pioneering electric vehicle manufacturer based in the USA, is expanding its global footprint by establishing a new commercial operations and customer activation center in the United Kingdom. The innovative EV company has selected Bicester Motion, a renowned automotive and technology hub, as the location for this strategic move.
Founded in 2017, Canoo has quickly distinguished itself in the electric mobility sector with its revolutionary technology and unique vehicle designs. Their business model is designed to serve a diverse range of commercial owners, focusing on maximizing vehicle lifecycle and utility. With existing teams across key US locations including California, Texas, Oklahoma, and Michigan, Canoo delivers advanced EV solutions to large commercial fleets. Their expansion into the UK market signifies a major step in their global strategy, bringing both right-hand and left-hand drive vehicles to international customers.
The new UK team for Canoo Inc. will be based in Building 108 at Bicester Motion, occupying 486 sq ft of office space. Additionally, they will utilize vehicle storage facilities within Historit, Bicester Motion’s secure car storage for classic and modern vehicles, and leverage event activation services during Bicester Motion’s signature Scramble events.
