Fisker, the innovative electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is expanding its horizons beyond the SUV market and venturing into the realm of high-performance sports cars. The company has recently unveiled a closer look at the Rōnin, its highly anticipated all-electric sports car, and the initial details suggest it’s poised to challenge even the most established players in the EV sector. This “super GT convertible” is not just about aesthetics; it’s about delivering performance figures that could make even industry leaders take notice in the competitive electric sports car arena.
While Fisker’s current offering, the Ocean SUV, might blend into the crowded crossover segment, the Rōnin is designed to command attention. This Fisker Sports Car boasts a striking low-slung silhouette with elegant curves, reminiscent of the original Fisker Karma hybrid and perhaps even hinting at the long-awaited second-generation Tesla Roadster. However, unlike many convertibles that compromise on space, the Rōnin is engineered to comfortably accommodate five adults. This spaciousness is achieved through an innovative door configuration, featuring dramatic butterfly doors at the front and a set of smaller doors for rear passengers. When the retractable hardtop is closed, the Rōnin transforms into a sleek and stylish sedan, offering versatility alongside its sporty appeal.
The Fisker Rōnin
Beyond its captivating design, the Fisker Rōnin is engineered to deliver exhilarating performance. Although specific powertrain details are still emerging, Fisker has announced that the fisker sports car will generate over 1,000 horsepower. This substantial power output is projected to enable the Rōnin to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in a mere two seconds, reaching a top speed of 171 mph. However, what truly sets this fisker sports car apart is its remarkable estimated range of 600 miles on a single charge, thanks to its integrated battery pack. This figure surpasses even the current range leader, the Lucid Air, by a significant 83 miles, marking a new benchmark in EV range capability.
“Our vision with the Rōnin was to create a quintessential grand touring car, reimagined for the modern era and meticulously engineered for drivers who desire to journey from Los Angeles to Napa Valley on a single charge, or effortlessly cruise the Autobahn at sustained high speeds without any range anxiety,” stated CEO Henrik Fisker. This vision underscores the Rōnin’s dual focus on high performance and long-distance capability, positioning it as a true grand tourer in the electric age.

Fisker anticipates commencing deliveries of the Rōnin in the latter half of 2025. Production of this exclusive fisker sports car will be limited to just 999 units, further enhancing its desirability. Each Rōnin will carry a price tag of $385,000, reflecting its premium positioning and advanced technology. For those eager to own Fisker’s electric answer to the Roadster, reservations are currently open with a deposit of $2,000, or $3,000 for reserving two vehicles.
