The Scarbo Vintage SV Rover is a rugged SUV that draws styling inspiration from the original Ford Bronco, Land Rover Defender, and H1 Humvee. It features a mid-mounted engine with a supercharged V-8 producing 1,100 horsepower. A 1,006-hp electric powertrain is also available. It includes a two-speed transfer case and front- and rear-locking differentials. The pushrod suspension offers 30 inches of wheel travel, and four-wheel steering enhances off-road capability. The Scarbo Vintage SV Rover combines retro styling with extreme performance and a multi-million dollar price tag, placing it among the most expensive SUVs.
Karlmann King – $1.9 Million
The Karlmann King arguably holds the title of the most visually striking and one of the most expensive SUVs in the world. Based on the Ford F-550 heavy-duty pickup, it offered a bullet-resistant package to match its imposing exterior. Interior configurations included four, five, six, or seven-passenger layouts. Amenities featured a retractable TV, refrigerator, tables, and even a coffee machine. Despite its 6.8-liter V-10 engine, its substantial weight limited the top speed to 87 mph. Karlmann is no longer believed to be producing the King SUV, making it a rare and exceptionally expensive SUV, virtually impossible to find on the used market.
