Integrated Engineering (iE) is dedicated to providing you with the best performance enhancements for your Audi S5. Our engine and transmission tunes are designed to maximize your vehicle’s potential, and we are committed to keeping your software up-to-date and your experience seamless. When you choose an iE tune, you’re not just buying a performance upgrade; you’re investing in ongoing support and the latest advancements in tuning technology to ensure your Audi S5 Horsepower is always at its peak.
Free Tune Updates for Continued Performance Gains
Your purchase of an Integrated Engineering tune includes free updates. This means you’ll automatically receive any revisions to your tune, new octane options, additional standard features, and software improvements as they become available. We also understand that vehicle manufacturers like Audi occasionally release ECU updates. Rest assured, if Audi issues an update for your S5’s ECU, iE will incorporate these changes into your tune and provide you with the updated version at no additional cost. This commitment ensures your tuned Audi S5 continues to deliver optimal horsepower and performance, even as the vehicle’s software evolves. We are constantly working to refine our tunes to not only maintain but also enhance your S5 horsepower figures.
POWERlink Flexibility for Multiple Vehicles
The iE POWERlink Flash Tool is designed for convenience and versatility. If you have multiple vehicles in your household, or if your friends are also looking to enhance their cars with iE tunes, your POWERlink can be used on up to 5 different vehicle identification numbers (VINs). This offers a cost-effective solution for tuning multiple vehicles. Please remember that tunes are sold separately for each VIN. While the POWERlink tool itself is versatile, each vehicle requires its own specific tune license to operate. This ensures that the correct calibration is applied for each car, maximizing the potential horsepower gains for each individual vehicle, including your Audi S5.
Tune Registration and Vehicle Ownership
Once an iE tune is applied to your Audi S5’s engine control unit (ECU), it becomes permanently registered to that specific vehicle. This registration is non-transferable to other vehicles. This security measure protects your investment in the tune and ensures that the software is correctly paired with your car. However, we understand that vehicle ownership can change. In the event you sell or transfer ownership of your Audi S5, the tune can be transferred to the new owner. This transfer of tune ownership is exclusively tied to the transfer of vehicle ownership, maintaining the integrity and intended use of the software and ensuring the continued optimized s5 horsepower for the vehicle.
V4 IE POWERLINK Requirement for Modern ECUs
Modern Audi vehicles like the S5 utilize advanced ECU and TCU systems, such as the MG1, which employ updated flashing protocols. To properly read and write the necessary data to these sophisticated systems and unlock the full potential of your S5 horsepower, the latest V4 IE POWERLINK is essential. Older V3 POWERlink devices lack the internal hardware required to flash the B9 3.0T calibrations used in the S5. Therefore, if you are purchasing a tune for your Audi S5 and already own a POWERLINK, please verify that the serial number on the back of your device begins with “V4”. This ensures compatibility and a successful tuning process, allowing you to experience the full increase in s5 horsepower that our tunes offer.
Important Notice Regarding Downpipe and Emissions
If you are considering further modifications to enhance your Audi S5 horsepower, such as installing a downpipe, please be aware of the following important notice. By purchasing a motorsport/racing product, like a performance downpipe, you acknowledge and agree that these products are specifically designed for racing and off-highway use. They are not engineered to meet any applicable emissions standards in the USA or other regions, are not CARB compliant, and are not intended for sale or use in California or any jurisdiction where prohibited by law. Integrated Engineering (iE) explicitly disclaims any representations, warranties, or claims regarding emissions compliance. It is your responsibility to understand and comply with all local laws and regulations pertaining to the use of such products. While downpipes can contribute to increased horsepower in your Audi S5 when used in conjunction with our tunes, their use may have implications for emissions compliance, which should be carefully considered.
